My Name or Nickname: Kai
OOC Account: Kai
Quills Account(s): Free Season Character

NAME: Kirill Vasiliyvich Federov
DATE OF BIRTH: June 3rd, 1977
EMPLOYER: Magical Artisans Guild - French Branch - Jewelry Maker

PRIMARY ERA: Reformation

What is the concept for your character?
A generally lazy young man who left the USSR in search of a finer less stressful life. His father - a Soviet government official - is unhappy with his son's departure but hopes that the youth will wither down his wild desires and come back to his motherland. For now, he sends Kirill money, and Kirill spends it all unnecessarily. As if this wasn't bad enough he's also a horrible flirt that will just about attempt to seduce anything with two legs.
What other eras will they be active in and what will their job be in each era?
Golden - Unemployed
Legacy - I have no earthly clue
What does your character look like?
Dark hair. Green eyes. Pale skin. Kirill has an average build, with fairly unkempt hair that is longer than the average man his age. His face is long and solemn with pronounced cheekbones. He's of decently average height standing at five foot and eleven inches. Loose, comfortable clothing is his preferred outdoors presentation. He has a set of pronounced eyebrows - like many Russians - with an equally strong nose. All in all he is rather unassuming, and lazy looking. Seldom found without a cigarette in his mouth, which is his favorite muggle invention.
Who is someone from your characters past who influenced who they are today?
Kirill's father. Kirill comes from a rare stock of faux aristocracy in the Soviet Union due to his father's influence over and in the government itself. Therefore the family was always well off, and wealthy. Corruption in the government was not something that was spoken of because as far as the family as concerned they were living a good life and therefore there was no corruption. Kirill's deep seeded laziness and slightly pompous nature was born from within this lifestyle. But every action he took was because of his father - from actually trying to do well in school (and mostly failing) to dressing nice for balls. It was all in the name of making his father pleased so that the family name could live on in glory. Unfortunately Kirill came to resent his father through this process as well.
What does your character think their strongest and weakest traits are?
Kirill thinks he's rather charming and charismatic. He's not entirely wrong as he is quite decent at talking, but that on its own is his great weakness. He can talk to a wall, and annoy almost anyone. His talkative nature has gotten him in a great deal of trouble with his father before and is one of the reasons he fled Russia entirely.
What is something your character wants but does not have?
A lover and the ability to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants. Working is making him extremely unhappy.
What is something your character would never tell anyone about themselves?
He once witnessed his father commit a treasonous act whilst a student in Durmstrang Institute - when he was back for the summer. This act was what gave his father the upper hand in getting promoted to a much higher position... Loyalty and truth to ones own country or quite literally anyone or anything have been hard things to swallow for Kirill ever since who had grown to believe - up to that point - that there was nothing better than to be loyal and true.

Welcome to the Wizarding World, Kirill!

A chatty nature will make for easy friends- or enemies. You might like to begin your story in It Would Be A Merrier World, which takes place in Romania, or by using one of the following thread ideas:

★ Kirill's father is planning a visit and has sent notice-- only two days in advance. What will he do to prepare?

★ Some Russian muggle tourists are lost and don't speak a lick of French. Will you help them, or send them in the opposite direction just for fun?

Before you jump in...
