#350 by Newt Scamander
The weather was absolutely dreadful, and Newt was not pleased with having to go out in it. Least of all because it meant going back to the office; he had been traveling as much as he could and had a very nice winter holiday over Christmas and Boxing Day and the New Year, but now here he was soaking wet and freezing and just wanted a pint to warm up.
He'd had to see about a permit and left the office, but by the time he was finished it was nearly time to close up shop for the day, so he decided a drink would be better. That would be fine, and no one was going to miss him.
Sighing to himself, Newt sat down at the bar and bundled his coat further around him as he waited for his drink.
Even with the spells to remove the water from his clothes, this had been a cold that soaked you truly to the bone.
