Appearance:

Though not altogether tall, Morgan is a fairly imposing figure of strong muscular build. His hair is the colour of buttered toast, the back pulled into a small bun, the front combed into neat mutton chops. Being farsighted in one eye, and nearsighted in the other, Morgan is never without his glasses, though he is not completely blind without them. Sharp, square-jawed with dull grey eyes, there is hardly a soft feature in his hardened visage. His clothes are new, though not rich, and while he maintains a picture of neatness, the close observer will notice an untucked shirt here, an undone button there, a small stain or tear.

History:

Morgan comes from a long family of highly-ambitious Slytherins. His eldest sister works as a Poisons specialist at St. Mungos, and his other sister occupies a high position at the British Ministry for Magic. His parents are both employed in the upper middle-class financial bracket. It is expected that Morgan will follow in the footsteps of his sisters, and thus he has been enrolled in advanced classes such as Alchemy and Potions, and it is also expected that he excel in DADA and Transfiguration. Any Arts-based courses are highly discouraged, and it has taken Morgan a good deal of clever phrasing to persuade his parents to allow him to take Care of Magical Creatures. Morgan also appears to have some skill in Divination, though he is not a true Seer.

Throughout his years at Hogwarts Morgan has felt stifled and caged by his family’s high expectations, and their extreme disapproval of his love of art. Early on he developed anxiety and depressive issues by consequence, for which his eldest sister sends him regular doses of a special calming draught approved by the school, though neither she nor her parents are aware that they are the source of his poor mental health. This draught is taken by drops in his tea.
A year ago, some older friends of his (all of whom have long since left Hogwarts) introduced him to an infusion of a particular illegal substance, the qualities of which resemble a hallucinogenic opiate. He found this far more effective than his approved draught.

In Reformation, Morgan lives in Bordeaux, France, trying to turn his life around. Having had a nervous breakdown resulting in rather appalling DADA and Alchemy N.E.W.T. exams, Morgan’s addiction was made known to the school, and by extension his parents. An agreement with the Headmaster ensured that his academic record would remain clean so long as he admitted himself into St. Mungo’s. Horrified by this revelation, his family disowned him and he was forced to leave upon his release from the hospital.

Personality:

The few times that Morgan’s real self appears, he is highly creative and driven to be the best of himself. He has a love of learning and a deep respect for animals and art. His appearance speaks a great deal about his self: a fusion of individuality and outside influence.
Morgan has difficulty confronting authority, and has no conflict resolution skills, preferring instead to withdraw or flee from an issue. He has difficult trusting people, and keeps any friends and acquaintances at a distance.
