International Crime Syndicate
Though not immediately apparent thanks to criminals' ability to hide their goings-on in plain sight, an underground international crime syndicate exists in the shadows of the wizarding world, connecting smugglers, assassins, and evildoers from around the world so that they can more readily seek assistance, protection, or even just a partner in crime (no pun intended.) Members of the International Crime Syndicate know how to identify each other and communicate privately in ways that vary around the world, but most importantly participating in the syndicate means knowing how to stay out of trouble...at least in the eyes of the law.
The International Crime Syndicate is available in Victorian, Expedition, Marauder, Golden, Reformation, and Legacy Eras.
• Characters must be at least 17 years of age to participate in the Syndicate and must complete at least five threads participating in illegal activity
• Members must choose a general region to participate in. Establishment of an official Crime Ring in the syndicate is permitted, but with the acknowledgement that other players may join in the crime ring as well.
• In order to become a member, characters applying after October 1, 2019 will need a referral from another member of the Syndicate -- just to assure that no law enforcement officials make their way in, of course!
• A referral is not required if the character is employed by Isolesco Financial, Cleary Co Imports & Exports, Katoracov & Sons Lumber Co, Borgin & Burkes, White Wyvern, The Blood Moon Inn, or Amoud's Artefact Warehouse. If your character owns a business involved in the Black Market or other illegal activity, it can be added to this list upon request.
