Noltie's Botanical Novelties sits within Diagon Alley, London. It is one of the most eye-catching plant shop around with large sloping branches, cascading vines, entwined roots around its alcoves. Branches protrude the front section of the glass roof and up through the windows on the top floor. Due to the age of the building and the everlasting greenery that grows within the infrastructure, the bricks have been reinforced with magical binds to remain in tact. It has changed very little from when it was first build...apart from the monstrous looking Venomous Tentacular that guards the back door.
Upon entering, customers are often left astounded by the level of horticultural design. The shop is based on two levels, a large spiral staircase separating the floors, the upper level a balcony over the lower. The railings of the staircase are seemingly twisted with a tree branch that appears to be springing up from the floorboards. Chairs are created with multiple weaves of winding stems, roots, and branches, embellished with variegated leaves and small seasonal flowers.
Much of the furniture is created by using charmed plants, often instructed to grow and spread in specific ways to form the multiple items necessary. A hat rack of vines stands at the front door, a tree stands proud and centre with hanging ornaments for sale, and a decorative ivy-wrapped metal swing set sits at the back of the room.
The shop sells a wide range of trinkets, gifts, and decorative valuables. Not only are they great for aesthetics, but they are also incredibly helpful for anyone interested in herbology and potions!
