The White Wyvern is very inconspicuous in Knockturn Alley that a patron might miss it if they weren't paying attention. The pub is in a non-descriptive stone building and is accessible through a wrought iron gate and up a set of stone steps between the Wyvern and the pawnbroker's shop next door.
The pub itself is relatively quiet. It has very few tables as most patrons can be seen at the actual bar. It's clear that the regulars at the White Wyvern have been regulars for quite some time now. They aren't really open to newcomers and the barkeeps themselves are gruff. But if a customer keeps to themselves and doesn't cause any trouble, they are free to pay for the drinks they want.
The White Wyvern has a simple menu because its patrons prefer it that way. Despite being a rundown and unfriendly-looking, the food and drink menu isn't quite so bad. Patrons, if you could get them to open up, would say that the food here is good English food and would remind anyone of their mum's cooking. The following foods can be ordered at the bar:
• Shepherd's Pie — A lamb meat pie with a mashed potato crust
• Bangers and Mash — Sausage and mashed potatoes
• Meat Pies — Chicken, Rabbit, or Pork
• Blood/Black Pudding — Blood sausage. Usually served alone or with mashed potatoes
• Fish and Chips — A classic dish using a surprisingly high quality cod for its fish
This is just a sampling of the menu. There are more traditional English fare offerings available. As for drinks, the White Wyvern sells whatever can be found at other magical pubs like the Leaky Cauldron and the Blood Moon Inn such as Ogden's Old Firewhiskey, ale, and beer. Some could venture to ask for a glass of elderflower wine, but should expect to be greeted with strange looks and to order another drink from the menu.
